just a poem

Photos

I cried again today
Catching a glimpse of you
Trying hard to release
The feelings we once held
Remaining in wonder
Of what tomorrow brings

"I thought you'd enjoy this picture of me and friend, god was there! hope you enable html and hope i don't see you in public! Hope there's some more gay single men at the next protest! I'm sure you do too! I love you guys and god does too! No need to hate! No need to judge, the bible says so you know and yes i'm aware of the many other things, but in my own opinion I think god wanted us to have a little fun in our lives, so take the stick out!"

I don't know what exactly it is right now, but i'm extremely unhappy with myself right now. You would think that if i knew who and what triggered it all, then i'd be upset with them and that situation.

Stingray kills 'Crocodile Hunter'

SYDNEY, Australia (CNN) -- Steve Irwin, the TV presenter known as the "Crocodile Hunter," has died after being stung by a stingray in a marine accident off Australia's north coast.

Media reports say Irwin was diving in waters off Port Douglas, north of Cairns, when the incident happened on Monday morning.

Irwin, 44 was killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest, according to Cairns police sources. Irwin was filming an underwater documentary at the time.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality Monday morning off Port Douglas, according to Australian media. (Watch scenes of Irwin, known for his his enthusiasm, support for conservation -- 2:49)

Queensland Police Services also confirmed Irwin's death and said his family had been notified. Irwin was director of the Australian Zoo in Queensland.

He is survived by his American-born wife Terri and their two children, Bindi Sue, born 1998, and Robert (Bob), born December 2003.

Irwin became a popular figure on Australian and international television through Irwin's close handling of wildlife, most notably the capture and relocation of crocodiles.

Irwin's enthusiastic approach to nature conservation and the environment won him a global following. He was known for his exuberance and use of the catch phrase "Crikey!"

But his image suffered a setback in January 2004 when he held his then 1-month-old baby Bob while feeding a crocodile at his Australian zoo. (Full story)

In a statement released to Australian media, Foreign Minister Alexander Downer expressed his sorrow and said that he was fond of Irwin and was very appreciative of all the work he had done in promoting Australia overseas.

In 2003, Irwin spoke to the Australian Broadcasting Corp.'s Australian Story television program about how he was perceived in his home country.

"When I see what's happened all over the world, they're looking at me as this very popular, wildlife warrior Australian bloke," he said, the ABC reported.

"And yet back here in my own country, some people find me a little bit embarrassing. "You know, there's this... they kind of cringe, you know, 'cause I'm coming out with 'Crikey' and 'Look at this beauty.'"

got my car back, furious

The following is unorganized and typed in one sitting without editing:

I would like to explain my encounter with Lyon’s body shop. I just got my car back, it is Monday, and the Wednesday before today I was told I would have it back. I had to travel back and forth there every time I thought it was ready because the phone was never picked up. When it was I was told it was ready that day or the following day. Thursday I showed up after the car was supposed to be ready Wednesday. Nope, not even a phone call it wasn’t ready and they decided they wouldn’t call me to inform me that even though I told them I would be there on that Thursday that I should show up and find out. That was silly and on top of all this before I even got the car into the shop they said they would call me when the car parts came in. “Early next week sometime” I wait the whole week. I finally call Friday and they explain to me that they have had the parts the whole time. Funny, they said they would call me and let me know. Friday after that Thursday mentioned above I get a phone call about how it won’t be ready today and I will have it Monday whenever I can come pick it up. At least they called that time. I show up today, Monday, and I’m told it will be another hour and they lady personally takes my number and says she’ll call me when it’s ready. 3 hours pass and they whole time, just like all the other times, the phone line is “busy,” or off the hook as far as I’m concerned. I show up and explain to the lady that the only reason I was back after three hours is because she told me and a hour and I wasn’t even contacted. I even went so far to explain to her that the phone was always “busy.” This of course wasn’t before the fact that when I showed up she ignored me and sat in a car helping press brake lights without acknowledging me, even thought she saw me and knew what I was here for. Keep in mind, my car at the point was actually ready. About fifteen minutes later she gets up and walks right past me to the office without even saying a word to me or looking at me. So I walk in and explain the above to her, where she apparently thinks I have a slight attitude, but I think all that I have had to put up with grants me a little. I tried to be as civil as I could. She then says “oh, we couldn’t get that windshield.” This was interesting since when I dropped the car off, heck even when I got the estimate I was told they had the windshield there in stock. I informed her of this and she got an attitude with me. So then she starts giving me directions to a windshield shop and I try to tell her nicely that I am just going to get it taken care of somewhere else whenever I can. She snaps at me and explains how it’s the cheapest and I tell her “I’ll just get it fixed in Jackson.” She looks and me and almost yells “Fine.” This isn’t over, so I get in my car and the small cover to the gear override is missing. A small part, but it was part of my car and I don’t like taking my car into places and having things missing. Secondly, there’s while paint dust or cleaner all over the driver’s side door. Lastly, the radio/cd player no longer works because it thinks the car was stolen. They failed to tell me any of this or even try to fix it.

Off the record: This is bullshit.
